The whole thing

From a problem in your street to a website that solves it

Here is the whole challenge, start to finish. No coding. Just your idea and an AI tool that builds with you.

Step by step

Four steps to a complete entry

1

Pick a theme and find a real problem

Choose one of five themes. Then find a real problem in your own community that fits it. Not a made-up one. A real one. The spaza shop nobody can find. The clinic with no booking system. The neighbour who cannot read her medicine labels.

2

Turn it into a build

Once you register, you get a guided prompt builder. It asks a few questions: what is the problem, who is it for, what should the site do. Your answers become a clear instruction for the AI tool. Then the tool builds the website. You decide what it should do; it handles the building.

3

Make it live and record your pitch

Your website has to be live and working. A real link anyone can open on their phone. Then record a short video, 60 to 120 seconds, with your face and voice. Explain the problem. Show your solution. Keep it real.

4

Submit

A complete entry is four things: a live website link, your pitch video, your theme, and a one-line title. Submit before the deadline and you are in.

See it happen

Watch a build come together

Two minutes. A learner picks a problem, answers the questions, and a working site appears.

What counts as a complete entry

Four things, that is it

A live website link

Working, public, opens on a phone.

A pitch video

60 to 120 seconds, with your face and voice.

Your chosen theme

One of the five.

A one-line title

What it is, in a sentence.

How winners are chosen

Scored on three things

1

The idea

Is the problem real and worth solving?

2

The build

Does the website actually work and solve it?

3

The pitch

Can you explain it clearly?

AI does the first round of scoring. A Zaio panel reviews the top builds. And the public votes. The best builds rise on all three.

You do not need a polished accent or a fancy design to win. A real problem, solved well, explained honestly. That is what we are looking for.
