No. You will not write any code. You guide an AI tool, and it builds the website. Your job is knowing what to build and why.
A live, working website that solves a real problem in your community, plus a short video pitching it.
No. A phone is enough. The whole thing works on a phone, on a normal connection.
If you are under 18, yes. We send your parent or guardian a quick message to approve. It takes a minute and it is required before you can submit.
Pick one of five themes, then find a real problem that fits. Youth and education, the township economy, health, safety and environment, or digital access.
You can take part in isiZulu, isiXhosa, Sesotho, Afrikaans or English.
Registration opens 30 November 2026. Builds are due 15 February 2027. Public voting runs to 15 March. Winners are announced 19 March.
Builds are scored on the idea, the build and the pitch, by AI, a Zaio panel, and the public vote. A real problem solved well, explained honestly, does best.
Yes. We follow POPIA. We only collect what we need, we tell you how we use it, and you can ask us to remove it.
No problem. There is no penalty. But if you have started, finish it. You are closer than you think.
